We all see plenty of drivers who don't use their Blinkers. Sure, most of them are choosing not to use it, but many drivers might not even realize their bulb is burnt-out!
So how can you know if your Blinker Light is about to go out?
1. The Turn Signal Indicator Blinks Faster Than Usual
When the bulb is about to die, it will blink at a much faster pace. You will also hear a faster signal clicking from inside the car. This can also tell you which side has an old bulb, or if both do. To check, you can use both Blinkers and see how fast each flash and click.
2. The Turn Signal Indicator Stays Solid and Does Not Blink
Contrary to a rapid flash, a solid indicator on your dashboard can also be a sign of a dying or already dead bulb. Like with a fast Blinker, you can see which bulbs need replacing by testing both sides.
Look for the signs of a worn Blinker Light so you can change them before they burn out.
